St. Augustine's annual celebrations reflect this rich heritage and culture, where visitors and locals convene on historic downtown's brick streets. Our Calendar of Events lists all the gathering—big and small—whether they're at the beach, downtown, or on the river. There are historic reenactments, festivals and fairs, live concerts, and pirate parties, too. From foodie festivals to golf tournaments to reenactments of events from our history and, of course, the holiday spectacular Nights of Lights.
Each spring, Florida’s Photo Fest brings nature lovers and photographers together to study the area’s native wildlife through bird walks, kayak tours and photography workshops. Also in spring, golf fans gather to watch legends tee off during THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Downtown St. Augustine lights up on the Fourth of July, when Fireworks Over The Matanzas draws everyone’s eyes to the skies over Matanzas Bay. From mid-November through January you can see 3 million white lights illuminate St. Augustine’s historic district during Nights of Lights.
